Pool

The River Falls Pool is located at 7915 Horseshoe Lane, Potomac, Maryland 20854. The entire pool facility is new as of the spring of 2006. The Pool features a 13'6' deep diving well with two diving boards and a fun water slide. For swimming competitions, the pool has two regulation size configurations with eight lanes running east to west or six lanes running north to south.

The pool is completely ADA compliant with a gently sloped entrance in the shallow end and a water powered lift, if required, in the deeper area. Shallow areas of the pool feature delightful water jets that shoot up into the air, a pipe waterfall and underwater benches on portions of the perimeter. Immediately off the west end of the deck a game room with wide folding glass doors opens towards the pool. Showers and locker facilities are located adjacent to the game room on the lower level of the Clubhouse. Entrance to the pool is through a wide wrought iron gate at the southwest corner of the facility where members and their guests are greeted at a large curved brick and granite sign-in desk. The pool is professionally managed with a full time expert staff of management personnel, lifeguards and swim coaches. Lessons are available for all ages from the coaching staff. A limited selection snack bar is also available during most pool hours.

Use of the Pool facilities is restricted to RFCCA members in good standing and their guests. Pool facilities are subject to posted rules and regulations as well as the RFCCA Rules and Regulations published in the handbook given to all members. Standard hours of operation, subject to modification by pool management, are also published in the handbook.
